Mr. Chen Jian's portfolio is consisted of the Department of Asian Affairs, Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation, the China International Contractors Association, the Association of International Engineering Consultants, and China International Economic Cooperation Society. Mr. Chen Jian Meeting the Delegation from Russia in Xiamen

Assistant Minister of Commerce Chen Jian met a delegation from Russia in Xiamen on Sept 7, who was attending the 10th International Fair for Investment and Trade.

Mr. Chen Jian said that the International Fair for Investment and Trade was an international meeting with an aim of developing two-way investment, and had became the major window to push forward China to carry out investment and trade cooperation with other countries worldwide. It was the first time for the delegation to take part in the Fair as well as to hold promotion conference of Special Economic Zones during the Fair, through which the delegation could introduce the situation of construction and operation of Russian Special Economic Zones to investors from China and other countries to effectively push forward and launch investment cooperation with various forms.

Mr. Chen Jian said that China paid too much attention to the building of Russian Special Economic Zones, hoped that Russia could expedite the choice of place and construction of these zones, and might considerate about granting preferential policies to other areas with favorable conditions to provide convenience to implement investment cooperation between China and Russia.
