Mr. Chen Jian's portfolio is consisted of the Department of Asian Affairs, Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation, the China International Contractors Association, the Association of International Engineering Consultants, and China International Economic Cooperation Society. He also assists Vice Minister of Commerce Ma Xiuhong in her responsibilities with respect to the Investment Promotion Agency.

Mr. Chen Jian Meeting Begona Cristeto，CEO of INTERES Invest in Spain

Assistant Minister of Commerce Chen Jian met Begona Cristeto, CEO of INTERES Invest in Spain, in Xiamen on Sept. 8, exchanging opinions on issue of enlargement of two-way investment.

Mr. Chen Jian said that the International Fair for Investment and Trade was an exhibition with theme of investment, hoping to provide opportunities to investors from countries all over the world to communicate with each other through the platform. In recent years, China maintained attracting foreign investment at a higher level and its overseas investment developed with a high speed. Meanwhile, Mr. Chen Jian hoped that Spain could promote and encourage foreign investment companies to establish a good cooperation relationship with Chinese Ministry of Commerce and push forward Sino-Spain two-way investment.

Cristeto said that China was a dynamic market and Spain attached importance to the exploitation of Chinese market. Representatives from 14 autonomous regions of Spain took part in the Fair and wished to find out more investment opportunities through the Fair.
